Dark-bronze (♀) or brownish-black (♂), dorsal surface in ♀ covered with very fine hairs and fine puncturing. Interocular space a little broader (♀) or a little narrower (♂) than basal antennal joint. Typical carinae of pronotum in ♂ almost twice as broad as the interocular space. Legs brownish-red, coxae partly black; anterior lower margin of the middle and hind femora with a short and broad apical denticle. Abdomen in ♀ with faint transverse sulci, 7th tergite with lateral margins sinuate. Subgenital plate in ♂ with a deep and broad emargination at the right. Length of body ♂ 18, ♀ 15-17; pronotum ♂ 4.2, ♀ 4.3-4.7; elytra ♂ 19mm.
